Well, it’s been a long time to this point, but we finally got the roll-on bedliner put on the truck bed, back of cab and rockers up front. Undercoated the truck as well, which makes it look pretty nice. Next will be the Max-4 Camo Wrap we got from Indiana Mini Trucks (same place we got the great little rig in the first place).
We’ve driven around a bit in the truck and I’m very impressed. (and I’m not easily impressed). I keep looking for something rougher and steeper to climb to actually find the limit of this great mini truck, but haven’t found it yet.
Deer season opens in two weeks, so we’ll be working to get this little rig ready for that and for hauling decoys to the goose fields. Working on an idea for a tow rig from the front to eliminate hassle when towing short distances.
Once you take one of these for a drive, I think you’ll be hooked too. Take a look at these great rigs from Indiana Mini Trucks - Dave Martin is the guy to talk to and he’ll take care of you like he did us.
Be safe, shoot straight-

Recently, we finished up a web site for Kippi Wright of Purify My Hunt. You may have read about it on the Outdoor Wire. The products on purifymyhunt.com are purifiers that take the scent out of hunting clothes and gear, eliminating the need for special clothing or sprays.
We have one of the air purifiers and are thrilled with it. Jeff has used it on his hunting clothes and it works great. I love it too. I’ve used it in the kitchen to remove cooking odors and in the basement to combat that musty smell. It has never failed me. We’ve had less sickness this year too. I don’t know if that has anything to do with the air purifier, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did!

Over the weekend, we launched a new site for Mike and Kim St. Clair of St. Clair Farms. Their beautiful horses are showcased and quite a few are for sale. Much of the photography was done by Paul Sheppard - very talented man!
Working on the site got me thinking about one of Jeff’s many jobs in high school. Living in a rural area can provide a lot of working opportunities for a teenage kid - bailing hay and walking beans mostly. But anyway, sometimes he took care of horses. We have a friend whose mom had several and quite frankly Jeff was scared to death of them. No reason in particular - just some city kid gone country. He lived in Davenport before moving to small-town Warsaw, Illinois and hadn’t been around too many big animals. It took him awhile to get used to cows too. Jeff probably wasn’t much help in the stables now that I look back on it. Spent most of his time avoiding the animals.
Working on this web site for Mike and Kim was definitely something Jeff was comfortable with. And I think he found the horses interesting - from a distance. The St. Clairs have a real passion for what they do and I think we captured that on their site. So, if you’re in line for a working horse, check ‘em out!
